Freelance Videographer Wanted

We’re seeking a talented and creative freelance videographer to film a captivating short documentary-style video about Philadelphia painter and watercolorist, Tom McKinney. We are looking for a videographer who is great with lighting and sound to be a part of the project team. The team will work from a provided script to craft a high-quality documentary that combines narrative and informational styles to convey the impact of Tom’s work on the Philadelphia art scene and local culture.

The videographer will attend production planning meetings online and film at locations throughout Philadelphia’s University City area beginning mid May 2026.

Responsibilities:

• Shoot high-quality footage, capturing interviews, candid moments, and action shots of the subject’s day-to-day life.

• Incorporate existing coverage and archived materials from past art shows and interviews where necessary.

• Ensure the footage is optimized for various platforms, including web distribution.
